Description

As the Space Planner, you will be responsible for providing strategic planning and design solutions for strategic occupancy needs within the Property Services real estate portfolio, management of relocation processes, and support space utilization analysis and reporting.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Strategic Planning Responsibilities: Assist Strategic Planning Manager and Transition for Property Services Teams to develop analysis for test fit plans in support of building occupancy needs and requirements as needed. Work includes analysis of existing space, and consolidation of program requirements.
  • Support group property to develop conceptual design and test fit floor plans for business case analysis, and other business line requests. Work includes interpretation of program analysis, and prepare conceptual test fit plans of both existing and proposed plans to maximize space utilization while maintaining Citizens’ space planning standard.
  • Team with Relationship Management and Property Services Teams to build block plans or restack plans in support of business line functional requirements for staffing. Work includes tactical block plans to show phasing and end state views through AutoCAD drawings.
  • Space Efficiencies, Utilization and Metrics Reporting Responsibilities: Identify space efficiencies, capacity utilization and space planning alternative metrics for senior management review. Work includes interpretation of existing data, benchmarking, and developing alternative design solutions to improve efficiencies, utilizations, metrics, and update AutoCAD as needed.
  • Occupancy Management: Process IMAC requests to support multiple business lines, and buildings or interbuilding moves. Work includes verification of space requests, assignment of space as appropriate, and forward to supporting functions to coordinate moves.
  • Update AutoCAD plans and drawing library for all Property Services locations. Work includes maintaining accurate information on occupancy, room numbers, and space status and space utilization.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Required Qualifications
    • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Architecture or equivalent work experience. 

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40 Hours 
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
