A Career That Makes An Impact
Bring your skills to our growing team of Private Client Relationship Managers
At Citizens, tailored advice, personalized experiences, and innovative ideas, products, and solutions, are central to helping clients navigate changing circumstances. We’re growing our team of Private Client Relationship Managers (PCRMs), as we work to substantially increase our Citizens Private Client services, and add to our commitment to the business.

Citizens Private Client provides our affluent and high-net-worth clients personalized, world-class financial planning and advice to help them achieve their financial goals. Our culture of continuous coaching, professional development, and ongoing practice management support make this possible.
As part of our elite PCRM team, you’ll earn the title of ‘trusted advisor’ for your clients by going through discovery conversations, uncovering goals, and create and implement a plan. You'll provide an exceptional onboarding experience for new clients, as you learn their personal preferences and their individual and/or family financial aspirations. You'll deepen relationships by offering banking and lending solutions based on your client’s needs, and by collaborating with a dedicated Certified Financial Planner and Financial Advisor, to help them with short- and long-term financial goals.
Among other qualifications, PCRM candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or 5+ years relevant equivalent experience
- SIE, Series 6, 7, 63, 65, or 66, and Life and Health Insurance Licenses
- At least two licenses required; additional licenses can be obtained within a specific timeframe upon hire
- Demonstrated success in a client-centric, initiative-taking sales environment

Your Success Starts Day 1
Before you meet with clients, you'll attend our Wealth Colleague Development Program, a unique and in-depth, 5-week training experience for all colleagues advising our affluent and high-net-worth clients. PCRMs join new Private Client Financial Advisors to for a blend of in-person workshops and virtual learning.
You’ll gain a deep understanding of:
- Our business strategies, delivered by Private Client, Wealth Management, and Sales leaders
- Our Citizens consultative client engagement process
- Your communication style, how to effectively motivate behavioral change for yourself and others, as well as a workshop on social and emotional intelligence
- The premium we place on collaborative partnerships, with dedicated time to socialize/network across roles
But don't just take our word. Hear what recent PCRM hires have to say about the program.
"Great experience. One of the best corporate trainings I've ever been a part of.”
“The most valuable part was the small group coaching to dive into the engagement call and discovery process.”
“The onboarding and training experience has been undersold! The experience is very positive, building a great sense of community.”

"I believe people matter. Our leaders deliver on the promise of ongoing coaching and professional development of their teams. Our Relationship Managers complete an in-depth, new hire development program focused on our client engagement model: understanding the psychological side of how decisions are made and how to best connect with clients. We hire individuals with the right mindset and a desire to provide exceptional experiences for our clients."
- Anita Bosch, Head of Private Client Relationship Management
Work Hard, Play Hard
Our clients are at the center of everything we do. Behind the scenes, forming trusted relationships among one another is a critical element of collaboration - and proves the power of our network across the company. We encourage cross-collaboration in and outside of Citizens Private Client. We organize unique experiences for colleagues to get to know one another outside of day-to-day business, like our Citizens Stanley Cup event which brought PCRMs together with colleagues from Business Banking, Finance, Retail Banking, Mortgage, and Wealth Management.

Living Our Credo
Impacting moments that matter applies to the communities where we live and work too. Our PCRM leadership is committed to dedicating volunteer time, organized by market, as part of monthly or quarterly team meetings. Our PCRMs have no shortage of opportunities to participate in onsite efforts or back-office gatherings supporting non-profits that make a difference. I felt an immense sense of pride when implementing my first financial plan. I had the trust of all my partners. The clients were two physicians that put their full faith in my team and what we could do for them. We started with $6,500 CD and ended with a $1.8M dollar relationship.
A real "one team" approach is what my clients feel whenever they work with me. My Private Client Financial Advisor and I had a discovery meeting for a new client and found that beyond his rollover needs, he had a home that needed to be re-financed. My Mortgage Loan Officer and I were able to take care of the clients’ needs on multiple fronts. Working with advisors here is a real partnership as we bring more eyes, and expertise to the table.
