In this role, you’ll focus on acquiring and deepening client relationships by collaborating across the enterprise to deliver comprehensive solutions in areas such as credit, liquidity, interest rate management, treasury services, and Wealth Management.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage, acquire, and deepen a portfolio of new and existing commercial customer relationships within the Business Banking target market of $10MM to $50MM in annual revenue.
  • Lead advisory-driven conversations to assess client needs and aspirations, delivering value-added recommendations that enhance customer satisfaction and drive shareholder value.
  • Partner with Centers of Influence (COIs) and internal stakeholders to uncover and expand new business opportunities.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales culture with clear goals focused on loan and deposit growth, fee income, and exceptional customer service.
  • Actively participate in community engagement to grow your network and represent Citizens’ values and commitments.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in upper Business Banking or Lower Middle Market

  • Completion of formal Commercial Credit Training
  • Proven success managing moderately complex portfolios, clients, and transactions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and lending platforms
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on satisfaction and retention
  • Skilled in consultative selling, needs identification, and problem solving
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and COIs
  • Self-driven with a track record of generating new business
  • Results-oriented with a high level of accountability
  • Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and core banking products
  • Demonstrated community involvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business or Finance
  • Formal Credit Training required

Hours & Work Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
