Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Risk Analytics Manager for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Monitor fraud trends and develop fraud strategies within the Bottomline Secure Payments decision engine. Utilize the Actimize, PASS, and PayWatch decision engines to deliver superior fraud detection while balancing customer experience for Citizens Commercial, Small Business, Private Bank, and Citizens Access customers. Assess new and existing products and services for fraud risk and propose mitigating controls. Partner with vendors, product teams, fraud operations, and technology teams to effectively manage fraud controls for digital payments. Ensure compliance with, and documentation of, regulatory requirements, the Risk Management Framework, and internal Citizens Bank policies. Monitor fraud decision models and fraud strategy performances for model governance reports and provide feedbacks and adjustments to models and strategy. Develop, implement, monitor, and provide performance tracking of fraud strategies and fraud prevention tools and processes using data analytics tools and data visualization tools. Establish dashboards and presentation reports that will be used for monitoring at the analyst and upper management levels. Conducts ongoing analysis to identify root cause of fraud trends and propose potential solutions. Effectively manage competing priorities of requests working under strict deliverables.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, or related field, followed by one (1) year of experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Utilizing advanced statistical and modeling techniques, including outlier detection, forecasting, classification, and clustering; Utilizing data science methods to build analytic solutions to strategic business problems; Analyzing data to prove a hypothesis and make recommendations for improvement; Building and executing models and performing statistical analysis utilizing computer programming languages including SAS, Python, and SQL; Managing projects using proven methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile; Writing complex SQL queries in large and complex relational databases; Developing data-driven applications and data warehousing using RDBMS and SQL; Utilizing big data platform technologies, including Hadoop, AWS, and Redshift; Handling large volumes of data using SAS SQL and VBA scripting; Building applications using SQL queries to extract data from databases, perform validations, update records, and build periodic reports;  Building automated and scalable reporting dashboards in Tableau, Excel, and SAS for management decision making; and Generating periodic reports to track model and product performance and analyze data result to create summary report for upper management decision making.
