As the Senior Project Manager, the individual is responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects within an organization’s corporate departments. Their role involves leading project teams, defining project goals, developing project plans, and ensuring successful project execution. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. They provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Additionally, the incumbent may actively manage project risks, resolve issues, and communicate project status and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Working independently and using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services, project planning and execution which includes developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder management, which includes identifying and engaging with key stakeholder, to ensure their requirements and expectations are understood.
  • Acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience, leading project times, providing guidance support and mentorship.
  • Risk management and issue resolution which may involve solving complex problems, concerning project issues and conflicts, seeking resolution in a timely and effective manner.
  • Project governance and reporting, which involves ensuring project compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, product management, or technology delivery.
    • Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional projects within corporate environments.
    • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint (executive presentations), Word, and Teams.
    • Proven executive presence with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to influence and drive outcomes across all organizational levels, including C-suite stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA); advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred in Business, Project Management, or related field.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: M-F

  • Work Schedule: 8-5

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $114,000 - $135,000, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
