Description
The Portfolio Impact Manager serves as a strategic and operational lead to ensure portfolio management quality and consistency across markets for grants management and impact tracking.The role serves as the Public Affairs point to Corporate Giving and provides detailed oversight for markets around deliverables to ensure data integrity, efficiency,accuracy and consistency in the grantmaking process, supports budget and payment workflows, and drives continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides detailed oversight across local market Grants Management & Compliance activities
- Oversee market adherence to SOPs and grants database (CyberGrants) procedures, ensuring accuracy of market records around all grant responsibilities and financials
- Serve as the central point of contact for Public Affairs to the Business Support Manager, Corporate Giving and leadership to ensure market compliance with grant guidelines, deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Lead quality control efforts across market submissions within the grantmaking cycle, including reviewing market applications for completeness and accuracy prior to the CART review.
- Manage market data entries by supporting application coding, timing alignment with budget forecasts, and organizational record updates.
- Responsible for data integrity of organizational records and contacts.
Systems & Process Optimization
- Centralize market completion of CyberGrants activities for portfolio managers, including budget input, coding, approvals, payments, and organizational contact management.
- Act as a Public Affairs liaison to the Corporate Giving team, with full access and training in CyberGrants to support portfolio manager needs for markets to drive excellence, accountability and efficiency.
- Consolidate and streamline payment tasks for efficiency and to improve accuracy.
Impact Tracking & Reporting
- Manage impact tracking and reporting across markets to support Public Affairs Market Managers in partner relationship management and ensure the accuracy of the market entries that roll up to the Corporate Affairs impact goal.
- Coordinate requests for data that come through Public Affairs by leveraging datapoints in CyberGrants to assess impact, and inform presentations and strategic planning.
Budget & Workflow Coordination
- Support budget administration tasks, particularly around payment cycles.
- Lead calendar and workflow planning with visibility into peak periods and future needs, maintaining a rolling 3-month schedule to ensure proactive management.
- Special projects as assigned to support goals of Corporate Affairs team.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Liaise between Corporate Giving and Public Affairs to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency and drive consistency in portfolio management and execution across markets
- Ensure grant applications are properly coded and aligned with budget documents before submission for CART review.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to reduce redundancies and improve consistency across markets in the grantmaking process.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of project management, database management (preferably grant management database), or administration services.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with a proactive approach to planning and problem-solving.
- Skilled in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Exemplary writing, verbal, and problem-solving skills; must be able to effectively anticipate issues and problem solve when issues arise.
- Ability to execute against strategy/drive results; demonstrated creative/critical thinking.
- Budget management experience.
- Effective time management and organizational skills; solid work ethic
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities.
- Ability to plan, implement and manage all aspects of complex projects to successful completion.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Flexibility, adaptability and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $80,000-$85,000 per year. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
