Senior Information Security Specialist - Records Management

We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Data Protection Governance and Records Management Program. In this role, you will work closely with business units across the organization, providing strategic oversight, expert guidance, and high-impact documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management
•    Independently manage off-site vendor relationships, including service oversight, reporting, SLA monitoring, and contract discussions.
•    Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and internal stakeholders to lead contract and SOW negotiations.
•    Analyze, report, and build key metrics; prepare monthly reports for senior leadership.
•    Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure adherence to servicing standards.

Governance & Oversight
•    Ensure compliance with Records Management policies and governance processes.
•    Maintain and analyze reconciliation and trending data.
•    Provide input on Records Management and Data Protection Governance processes.
•    Manage records lifecycle, including those related to Mergers & Acquisitions.
•    Serve as a liaison with Business Records Managers and Records Coordinators across the organization.

Communications & Training
•    Develop and deliver training materials, webinars, and communications to promote awareness and best practices.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
•    Experience managing both paper and electronic records.
•    Strong understanding of Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Policy Governance.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Co-Pilot).
•    Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
•    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience in the Financial Services industry.
•    Records Management or Information Governance certifications.

Hours & Work Schedule:
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
