In the Home Mortgage Servicing Operations Specialist role, you will direct and manage aspects of the loan servicing lifecycle related activities to enhance operational efficiency and service levels.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Monitors and oversees activities related to the loan payment aspects of the loan servicing lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all internal policies and procedures on loan relationship management are followed to a high standards and quality work in loan service processes.
  • Performs various payment processing functions, adhering to all Risk, Compliance and Payment Security guidelines.
  • Handles administrative tasks including opening and tracking all mail and overnight packages in a controlled environment 
  • Reviews and evaluates decisions related to lockbox rejects system. 
  • Handles various mortgage payment related activities including processing, printing, mailing and reconciliation of payments and payoffs.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, and strong customer service skills 
  • Strong time management skills, strong analytical skills, ability to work independently & strong attention detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in PC skills and MS Office and possesses Intermediate Excel skills and strong data entry skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of mortgage experience and/or banking experience required, preferably in cash/payment area, preferred
  • Demonstrated stable work history, preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: 8:30-5:30 PM EST - M-F (100% In Office position only)
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends is required
