As the Servicing Ops Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for the file transmission, file reconcilement and validation of print quality of various bank statements, letters and notices that are processed to the print and mail vendor. Tracking of SLA of files processed to the vendor as well as working closely with upstream technical resources and vendor resources to resolve all issues that may arise to ensure the files are processed on time and accurately. Along with transmissions of files to the vendor, the Statement Processing team is responsible for in house printing on network printers as well as operating Pitney Bowes high speed mail insertion equipment. This team is also responsible for viewing and approving Statements for format accuracy for the digital bank Citizens Access. This position will also work closely with the Statement Composition team and various business lines to validate the 1st production file for changes that have been made to existing documents or onboarding of new documents.The department is a high volume, fast-paced environment with various SLA’s.  This environment requires accuracy and attention to detail as there is direct customer impact.

Primary responsibilities include

  • File transmission, reconcilement, and quality validation.

  • Printing on high-speed Lexmark printer.

  • Inserting of mail on Pitney Bowes high speed mail inserters.

  • Maintaining accurate data on multiple dashboards.

  • Preparing outgoing mail and packages for shipment.

  • Researching and responding to inquiries from colleagues across the bank.

  • Performs advanced clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilizes methods, procedures and knowledge of the business unit's product(s) and application(s).
  • Research routine customer, brand, or bank inquiries as appropriate.
  • Determines the source of problems and works to resolve them accurately and within service level agreements.
  • Will also utilize knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements to help minimize financial risk to Citizens and detailed knowledge of multiple systems to solve problems.
  • May need to work independently on special projects often interaction with all levels of management, serving as a resource for the business unit.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, cross train within the department and assume additional responsibilities as requested by management.
  • The position may include reporting responsibilities and may assume department administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1-3 years Operations Experience.

  • Technical aptitude and understanding of networks and servers.

  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Understanding of department procedures and key practices.

  • Ability to identify areas of improvement in personal work and processes.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

  • Team Player.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per week: 40

  • Schedule: 7:30 to 4:00, Monday – Friday position is fully on site at our Riverside & Johnston RI offices
