Program Manager – GenAI & SDLC Transformation - Adoption

Responsibilities

The Program Manager will lead key initiatives that modernize the SDLC using GenAI, agentic automation, and engineering platforms. This role focuses on driving adoption, operational execution, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SDLC GenAI Transformation Program with a focus on accelerating developer productivity, improving quality, and optimizing delivery workflows.

• Drive adoption of Harness pipelines and modules across engineering teams, including onboarding, best practices, and integration with SDLC/DevOps processes.

• Manage a program portfolio of complex initiatives through full lifecycle: planning, execution, delivery, benefits realization, and closure.

• Leads a small, high‑impact team that accelerates SDLC transformation and GenAI adoption through coaching, clarity, and execution excellence.

• Define program scope, goals, roadmap, and success metrics; track and report measurable outcomes (velocity improvements, adoption KPIs, pipeline maturity, automation rates).

• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Product, and Risk teams to deploy GenAI and automation capabilities safely and effectively.

• Ensure all GenAI-related workflows follow responsible AI, privacy, and security guidelines.

• Build and execute developer enablement, training, and communications to drive tool adoption at scale.

• Maintain governance, risk management, and program reporting in alignment with PMO standards.

• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or AI augmentation within SDLC and DevOps workflows.

• Coordinate onshore/offshore teams and vendor partners to execute modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of program or project management experience leading technology or SDLC modernization initiatives.

• Experience managing onshore/offshore development or DevOps teams.

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery (MVP-based releases).

• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks, tools, and engineering use cases.

• Experience with DevOps automation; exposure to tools like Jenkins, or Harness.

• Strong ability to define and track transformation metrics, adoption KPIs, and delivery outcomes.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities.

• Understanding of responsible AI, security, and governance principles for AI-enabled systems.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $ 144,000 - $ 189,000 per yearplus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
