4 Days in the office from any of our locations in RI,Iselin NJ, MA, Pittsburgh PA, Dallas TX or Phoenix AZ and couple other locations

Role is not relocation eligible. 

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of Citizens products, projects & programs and will serve as the leader for Agile teams and be responsible for the ROI of the product and the Agile team. As the Product Owner, you will utilize a user-centric mindset and will be a key contributor in driving optimal banking experiences. You'll lead the execution activities of cross-functional teams involving various business partners in the development and deployment of new products, product enhancements, and process improvements.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Conduct market analysis to continually drive products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
  • Work with Development team and Scrum Master to develop a product roadmap and report on progress on achievement of road map.
  • Facilitate solutions across the organization; working with legal, risk, operations, UX and technology teams to prioritize, deliver solutions that align with the corporate strategy.
  • Define the product vision, business case and communicate vision effectively to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Leads story grooming sessions and ensures requirements are sprint ready for both quantity and quality and lead product demos or reviews.
  • Continuously prioritize and refine the product backlog using quantitative and qualitative techniques to ensure that the most valuable work is delivered first.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3-5 Experience working within a cross-functional team using Agile/Scrum
    • Ability to understand and read Agile metrics so to effectively communicate progress and team burn rate. 
    • Experience with Home Mortgage, Encompass is required
    • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
    • Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment using quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Financial management skills, ability to develop road maps, budgets, quantify ROI
    • Experience with Agile tactics and tools including story splitting, defining minimal viable products

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $ 99,287 – 148,930 per yearplus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
