Product Associate – Payables

The Product Associate plays a critical role in supporting the Payables product team by contributing to product initiatives, documentation, training, sales support, and other product-related activities as needed. This role has been an established and integral part of the product staffing model for more than 10 years and continues to be essential to the success of the Payables organization.

As a Product Associate, you will partner closely with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to identify and implement product growth opportunities that drive increased revenue and improve client outcomes. You will interact directly with customers and sales partners to ensure a strong understanding of product features, functionality, and value proposition.

The Product Associate will also provide support for several critical Payables initiatives currently underway, including but not limited to:

  • Migration from PEP+ to EPP
  • ISO address changes in wire processing
  • The Clearing House (TCH) upgrade to Release 5.0

This role helps ensure these initiatives, along with day‑to‑day product activities, are executed effectively and on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support all Payables team members with product-related projects, documentation, training materials, and client and sales support.
  • Monitor and assess payables product performance, investigating revenue and volume fluctuations to determine root causes and business impact.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through detailed analysis of product usage, evaluation of market and competitor offerings, and identification of product gaps or enhancement opportunities.
  • Proactively incorporate client and sales feedback to improve product functionality, positioning, and adoption.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure all aspects of new product launches and product enhancements are well planned, communicated, and executed.
  • Assist in determining product pricing through analysis of customer usage, market conditions, and profitability.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance, technology, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting products, projects, or programs in a financial services or payments environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Payables, Treasury Management, or Payments products.
  • Familiarity with product life cycle management, pricing analysis, or product launches.
  • Experience working directly with clients or sales teams in a consultative capacity.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and presentation software.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F
