Business Banking SBA Sales Specialist II

Description

As a SBA Sales Specialist, you will provide SBA training and knowledge support as a subject matter expert in the supported market, assist Relationship Managers (RM) with processing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans to ensure the process is managed efficiently and the customer experience is positive, and direct calling on third party groups (CDCs, CDAs and other government agencies) throughout assigned geographic markets in a direct effort to develop credit enhanced loan leads.

Primary responsibilities include

• Provide SBA training and knowledge support to ensure RM's can identify and sell SBA opportunities.
• Assist RM's with processing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans to ensure the process is managed efficiently and the customer experience is positive.
• Direct calling on third party groups (CDCs, CDAs and other government agencies) throughout assigned geographic markets in a direct effort to develop credit enhanced loan leads.
• Direct customer contact to explain the benefits of SBA loan programs and assist in loan package preparation, processing, and closing.

Qualifications

• At least a minimum of 5 years direct experience with SBA/ Government guaranteed lending. 

• Deep knowledge of SBA SOP

Education

• Bachelors Degree preferred

• Hours per Week: 40
• Work Schedule: M - F

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $134,000 - $166,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is 

based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
