We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to fill the position of  East Coast - Private Bank Office Regional Lead. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our private banking offices across the region over key markets such as New England, NYC, Greater Philly and FL and beyond as we grow our platform.

As an East Coast  Lead of Private Banking Offices, you will lead the PBOs in these regions, including multiple teams, to ensure success nationally.  You will perform Private Banker responsibilities with a focus on any key client relationships.  You’ll build strong partnerships with Business Bankers/Relationship Managers/Partner Leaders and help develop client strategies to win business across all business lines. You will lead and implement new bank-wide initiatives.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Hire and supervise teams of Private Bankers for the Private Banking Offices.
  • Establish and enact strategic partnerships to ensure success on a national level.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability within the private banking division.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to regional leads and private banking office teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish goals, objectives, and KPIs for the private banking offices.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the performance of each office and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and key stakeholders.
  • Promote the Private Banking Office value proposition throughout the teams and continue to raise the bar on client experience.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the office system by coaching and creating a white glove experience to for all clients and growing overall deposits.
  • Assist your team and partners in selling the bank.
  • Assist Business Bankers/Relationship Managers/Partner Leaders with business development and set a standard for excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Lead bank initiatives, perform analysis of options, use data to make firm decisions, and help communicate change across the Private Bank and partners.
  • Provide hands on coaching and develop bankers and associates.
  • Partner with RMs, BBs, and Partner Leaders to identify and develop strategies for client industries and to make the teams successful on a national level.
  • Leverage data and reporting to track the success of the team and make changes where necessary.
  • Work with all areas of the Bank to provide input for the design and implementation of new products, services and policies and procedures.
  • Work with other team members, including RMs, loan processors, partner leaders and client liaisons, to provide a more efficient sales and workflow environment.
  • Adhere to the applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.), as well as Bank policies and procedures.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity to the Anti-Money Laundering Officer.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in private banking and private banking leadership
  • The ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities as a quick learner who is process- and deadline-oriented
  • An aptitude for quickly forging effective working relationships with a variety of personalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An orientation toward being a team player and providing extraordinary service while furthering the bank’s culture and values
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services tailored to high-net-worth clients.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions. 

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $174,000 - $235,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
