With the recent appointment of a dynamic industry leader as Private Bank Chief Operating Officer, the Business Support Manager will play a critical role in supporting this executive and helping to drive strategic priorities across the business. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to excellence—along with the flexibility and drive to go above and beyond to ensure seamless execution.

As a Business Support Manager, you will have the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. In addition, other duties include but are not limited to scheduling of appointments/meetings, preparation of external/internal correspondence, visitor screening, arranging complex and detailed travel arrangements, coordination of meetings and receptions, preparation of presentation materials, filing of documents, as well as preparation of expense reports. May perform ongoing maintenance to various data bases and generate reports. Will assist in arranging large colleague meetings or events including senior leadership staff and may travel to facilitate these meetings.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner
  • Coordinates internal/external meetings, conference calls, and domestic/international travel. Schedule management for Senior Leadership staff
  • Displays excellent communication skills working with clients (internal/external), and vendors
  • Reports and presentations including advanced graphics
  • Accurately tracks expenses process and submits expense reports in a timely manner; obtains approvals
  • Distributes agenda, meeting packages, and responsible for meeting minutes
  • Travel will be required to facilitate and attend meetings, maintaining a timely agenda and coordinating all other attendees’ travel


Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 3-5 years prior Executive Administrative, Office Management or Business support experience supporting executive leaders in a large organization.  
  • Calendar management and daily operations management in a high touch environment; preferably in finance, private banking and/or wealth management industry.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Project, Excel, Teams, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. SharePoint knowledge a plus
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech savviness – ability to learn new software quickly and effectively
  • Initiative and can-do attitude – able to take on any other responsibility or project as assigned
  • Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and teams simultaneously
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong project management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F
  • Office Location: Avenue of the Americas - New York, NY
  • In office required 4 days (and 1 day WFH once acclimated)


Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $136,000.00 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
