The Senior Collections Reporting Analyst is responsible for driving performance measurement, reporting, and analytical support for the FCRA Operations function within Consumer Specialty Operations. This role partners closely with Operations leadership and Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely credit bureau reporting, including data extracts, tradeline testing, Metro2 submissions, and capacity reporting and forecasting.


The ideal candidate brings strong analytical acumen, deep understanding of credit bureau reporting, and the ability to translate complex operational processes into actionable data insights with minimal supervision.

Primary responsibilities include

•    Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of trended industry and performance intelligence to baseline and evaluate collections and recovery outcomes.
•    Partner closely with FCRA Operations stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of end-to-end processes and translate business nuances into clear data requirements supporting analytics, modeling, and reporting.
•    Independently perform data-driven problem solving to support FCRA Operations, identifying risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
•    Manage data mining, validation, and submission of Metro2 files in support of regulatory compliance and business objectives.
•    Develop and maintain capacity reporting and forecasting in support of operational planning.
•    Design and deliver visual, executive-ready reporting and dashboards in Tableau to communicate performance and key drivers.
•    Apply industry best practices and regulatory standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all reporting outputs.
•    Collaborate effectively with internal partners and external stakeholders, including CRAs.
•    Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, as applicable.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

•    5–10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
•    5–10 years of operations and/or operational analytics experience.
•    2–5 years of hands-on coding or data analytics experience.
•    Demonstrated conceptual and practical knowledge of credit bureau reporting, including FCRA requirements.
•    Strong proficiency in SAS (reading and writing code).
•    Experience with Metro2 file processing and submissions (preferred).
•    Proven ability to apply critical thinking and quantitative techniques to solve complex business problems.
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate business concepts and key drivers to senior management and diverse stakeholders.
•    Collaborative mindset with experience partnering across teams and functions.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week:  40
  • Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8a-5p
