This role will serve as the Product Growth Leader for the Consumer Personal Loan business, accountable for defining and managing product strategy, value proposition, and performance. Leader will ensure the portfolio drives profitable growth, aligns with enterprise objectives, and meets customer needs through product experience and disciplined business management. This position will be responsible for successful P&L management and related business analysis, sales support, marketing support, and product management activities.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Establish and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for the Personal Loan product suite, identifying opportunities for CX enhancement and competitive differentiation. 

  • Own the Personal loan product value proposition, structure, pricing, and features to ensure competitive positioning and alignment to customer need, demand.  Develop and execute go-to-market plans in partnership with Delivery & Transformation and Marketing teams. 

  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management from opening through servicing, and ensuring proper management and monitoring of performance, experience, and risk and control environment

  • Define and monitor key performance metrics. P&L accountability including pricing, profitability, risk and volume management 

  • Ensure strong governance and disciplined execution in day-to-day management 

  • Proven collaborative leader with a strong customer-first mindset and experience managing initiatives from strategy through execution

Qualifications

  • Proven experience launching, and scaling a consumer lending product, preferably unsecured personal loans, within a regulated financial institution
  • Demonstrated ability to stand up and lead an end‑to‑end personal loan product, from strategy and design through growth, servicing, and optimization
  • Strong background in consumer lending product management, with full lifecycle ownership and accountability
  • Experience with P&L ownership, including pricing, profitability, volume management, and performance analysis
  • Deep understanding of consumer credit underwriting, pricing, and portfolio risk management
  • Proven success balancing profitable growth objectives with credit quality, compliance, and risk discipline
  • Working knowledge of consumer banking regulations (e.g., UDAAP, ECOA, FCRA, CFPB expectations)
  • Expertise defining, tracking, and acting on key performance metrics across acquisition, experience, risk, and profitability
  • Strong analytical orientation with experience leveraging data, dashboards, and test‑and‑learn approaches
  • Proven collaborative leader with experience managing cross‑functional teams and communicating strategy and performance to senior leadership

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Masters Degree preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay Transparency 

  • The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $250,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
