Health, Wellness and Benefits Manager
We are seeking an experienced Health, Wellness & Benefits Manager who brings deep expertise in benefits administration and a strong passion for holistic colleague well-being. This role blends operational excellence with strategic program design connecting employee benefits to meaningful physical, emotional, and financial health outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on benefits professional who thrives in managing complex day-to-day benefits operations while also designing and delivering wellness programs that positively shape the colleague experience. This role requires strong analytical capability, comfort working with data and HR technology, and the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to drive efficiency, insight, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day benefits administration processes, including eligibility files, benefits case management, annual open enrollment preparation, testing, and colleague communications
- Serve as a primary point of contact for colleague benefit inquiries, escalations, new hire orientations, and business-specific benefit needs
- Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and Summary of Benefits and Coverage documents (SBCs)
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive wellness programs addressing physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, L&D, DEI, Health & Safety, Properties, Events, and external vendors to deliver integrated benefits and well-being initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits-related regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements
- Support Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting, non-discrimination testing, and audit readiness
- Maintain strong awareness of global benefits operations, with particular understanding of compliance requirements in India
- Manage and monitor vendor performance, service delivery, and contractual obligations
- Participate in vendor Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, evaluations, and transitions
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, experience, and cost management
- Analyze claims data, benefits utilization trends, wellness engagement metrics, and vendor performance indicators to inform strategic decisions
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for HR leadership and stakeholders
- Support audits related to healthcare spend, claims data, and vendor reporting
- Support benchmarking initiatives to assess plan competitiveness and identify cost-effective enhancements
- Participate in financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining a high-quality colleague experience
- Leverage HRIS platforms and AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot and similar technologies, to streamline administration and enhance data-driven decision-making
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep passion for colleague health and well-being with a strong understanding of how benefits support holistic outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex benefits and wellness data
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and intelligent platforms to improve efficiency and employee experience
- Proficiency with benefits administration platforms, HRIS systems, and data visualization tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required
- Proven experience in health and welfare benefits administration
- Experience working with outsourced benefits vendors and HRIS platforms such as Oracle and UKG
- Strong technical knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
Hours and Schedule:
- 40+ hours
- 4 days a week in office, 1 day remote

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $114,041.60 - $150,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
