Citizens is a leading Home Equity lender, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a Credit Risk & Pricing Analyst to join our Home Equity Credit Risk & Pricing team and help support strategies that drive sustainable growth, profitability, and strong portfolio performance.

In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with teams across Product, Operations, Sales, Credit Risk, Pricing, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy to analyze business opportunities, support pricing recommendations, and influence outcomes across the Home Equity business. The position offers meaningful exposure to senior-level discussions, strategic initiatives, and broader Consumer Lending priorities.

The ideal candidate will build deep expertise in data, analytics, and performance drivers that inform Home Equity pricing and credit strategy. This individual will lead and support analytical work related to profitability, portfolio performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence, translating insights into clear recommendations that help shape business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop profitability analyses, financial models, and decision-support tools to evaluate pricing strategies, product changes, and business initiatives
  • Monitor Home Equity portfolio performance, including volume, yield, margin, credit quality, profitability, and emerging business trends
  • Conduct market and competitive intelligence to assess pricing position, identify growth opportunities, and support portfolio return objectives
  • Support pricing recommendations through data-driven insights, scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and business case development
  • Create executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate performance trends, pricing insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and measure pricing initiatives across the Home Equity business
  • Maintain and enhance recurring reporting processes, analytical tools, and performance management routines to support ongoing portfolio decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, competitiveness, and customer outcomes through pricing optimization, segmentation, and process enhancements

Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in pricing, profitability analysis, financial analysis, analytics, product management, or a related quantitative role
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Experience working with large datasets, building recurring reporting, and developing executive-level presentations or business recommendations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across business, finance, risk, product, marketing, and sales teams
  • Experience in consumer lending, banking, home equity, mortgage, or financial services preferred
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or business discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar)
  • Advanced degree a plus, but not required

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: 8:30 – 5:00

Hybrid: 4 days per week on-site, 1 day remote

The salary range for this position is $77,000 - $103,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
