Business Insights Analyst

Description

As the Business Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for building capability in working with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies. You will be responsible for building knowledge of the company, processes, business systems and customers to analyze business processes, identify requirements and proposing solutions to meet the needs of the business. You may be asked to solve a range of straightforward problems and analyze possible solutions to said problems by using standard procedures. You will be responsible for turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Provide analyses and reports to identify trends and insights and formulate recommendations that will influence business decisions. Conduct industry and competitive research, perform data quality assurance checks, manipulate and analyze large amounts of data, and prepare client ready spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Ensure accuracy of results and analytic methods through testing and validation of underlying report data. Ensure bias and data quality issues are resolved or explained when communication occurs.
  • Identify business opportunities and opportunities for optimization through analysis of large, complex data sets.
  • Provide recurring and ad hoc research to support various business lines and internal partners' initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal partners and teammates. Work with technical and development partners to deliver solutions based on outlined requirements.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 2-3 years professional experience in an analytical role
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and to adapt while focusing on key goals and objectives
  • Proven proficiency with numbers and analytics, experience in analyzing large amounts of data, and an ability to translate that data into business insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to operate independently
  • Experience with market research, analyzing consumer behavior, or consulting
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration, or quantitative field

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $106,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
