Corporate and Administrative

Dover, New Hampshire; Westwood, Massachusetts

Description

Help shape how a complex, cross functional transformation comes together.

This Project Manager will play a key role within the NEXT PMO, partnering closely with the Head of NEXT PMO to translate strategy into disciplined execution. • Establish strong governance and operating rhythms, including key checkpoints, decision rights, RACI structures, standardized templates, and PMO routines aligned with Citizens Transformation Office practices.
  • Bring the program story to life for senior leaders through executive-ready reporting, program scorecards, dashboards, quarterly updates, and concise narratives that highlight progress, priorities, risks, and decisions.
  • Drive productive PMO routines by ensuring discussions result in clear decisions, ownership, actions, and timely follow-through.
  • Partner across NEXT workstreams and functional teams, influencing without direct authority and helping stakeholders work through risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and decisions.
  • Continuously improve how the PMO operates, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen governance, and provide greater visibility into program health and execution.
  • Leverage tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Excel to manage integrated plans, monitor progress and dependencies, and provide actionable insights into delivery.

  • Experience helping establish or mature PMO governance, operating cadences, integrated roadmaps, and executive reporting.
  • Strong ability to take a complex, multi-workstream initiative and create structure, clarity, accountability, and forward momentum.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and constructively challenge, escalate, and resolve issues when necessary.
  • Experience managing interconnected milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and delivery commitments across multiple teams.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, along with experience using SharePoint and project or portfolio management platforms such as Jira or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling messages for senior leaders.
