About the Role

Citizens Commercial Bank is standing up a new Product organization, led by a Chief Product Owner reporting directly to the Head of Commercial. The Business Product Manager, Vice President is a foundational Day 1 hire and the primary go to market engine for the new function, owning the connection between the Product organization and the Commercial coverage bankers, segment heads, and field leaders the team is built to serve.

This individual will own a scoped product and feature area focused on Commercial coverage and field enablement, delivering measurable outcomes through execution of the roadmap, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. The role partners closely with the Product Lead Director, the Product Enablement Director, the Commercial Analytics Team (joining as part of the EDA restructure), Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Commercial business leaders to ensure the GenAI Banking Platform, Insights and lifecycle capabilities, and AI use cases land in the field with strong adoption, banker advocacy, and measurable revenue impact. 

The function will scale in early 2027 with additional Product Owners for Treasury, Operations, and other Commercial domains supported by dedicated onshore and offshore scrum teams. The Business Coverage Lead will be central to ensuring those expanded capabilities reach bankers with the right positioning, training, and field routines from Day 1 through scale.

Primary Responsibilities

Go to Market Strategy and Execution

  • Define problem statements for Commercial coverage and translate them into a prioritized go to market roadmap and requirements for the GenAI Banking Platform, Insights and lifecycle capabilities, and AI use cases. 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go to market strategies for new product launches, capability releases, and feature updates, aligned to Commercial Bank growth, productivity, and risk objectives. 
  • Define target banker and client cohorts, develop buyer and user personas, and ensure consistent communication of product value propositions across all internal and client facing channels. 

Business Coverage and Field Partnership

  • Serve as the primary Product voice into Commercial coverage teams, segment heads, and Relationship Managers, building trusted partnerships and ensuring the field's needs shape the roadmap. 
  • Partner with coverage bankers to identify business opportunities where the GenAI Banking Platform and Insights capabilities can sharpen deal positioning, support pricing and structuring, and drive client up tiering. 
  • Conduct comprehensive client and banker analysis to identify needs that can be met with new and existing Commercial product capabilities. 

Roadmap, Tradeoffs, and Delivery

  • Make clear tradeoffs informed by data, banker insights, client feedback, and business context, balancing competing priorities and constraints.
  • Lead cross functional delivery across engineering, design, analytics, marketing, sales enablement, risk, and business partners for the coverage and field workstream.
  • Own end to end delivery outcomes for the assigned coverage product area, including release planning, launch readiness, and post launch iteration.
  • Apply domain and system knowledge of Commercial Banking workflows, CRM, and banker tooling to solution development.

Sales Enablement, Training, and Adoption

  • Develop training materials, certifications, and routines that support the banker journey and improve conversion of capabilities into client value. 
  • Foster strong relationships with sales segment partners, RM leaders, and Commercial business heads to ensure alignment and field collaboration. 

Customer Insights and Performance Analytics

  • Analyze product performance and adjust based on results, monitoring adoption, banker engagement, time reclaimed, pipeline impact, win rates, and revenue outcomes.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and voice of banker / voice of client research to inform product differentiation, positioning, and roadmap priorities. 
  • Incorporate customer insights into prioritization and delivery decisions, ensuring the team consistently solves the right problems for the field.

Stakeholder Alignment and Communication

  • Lead stakeholder alignment across Commercial coverage leadership, Marketing, Sales Enablement, EDA, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the success of go to market initiatives and report transparently on outcomes to the Chief Product Owner and Head of Commercial. 
  • Communicate clearly and concisely to executive audiences, translating product capabilities into commercial narratives that drive revenue and adoption. 

Risk, Compliance, and Responsible AI in the Field

  • Ensure go to market plans embed risk, compliance, model risk, privacy, and responsible AI considerations so capabilities reach the field with the right controls and banker guidance.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Model Risk Management to ensure marketing collateral, banker training, and client facing materials meet regulatory and ethical standards. 

Required Qualifications

  • 7 plus years of experience in product management, product marketing, go to market strategy, or Commercial Banking coverage / sales enablement roles. 

  • Demonstrated success leading go to market for new product launches and feature releases in financial services or a comparable regulated industry. 

  • Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products, coverage models, and banker workflows. 
  • Proven analytical ability, including market research, data analysis, and translation of hard data into actionable strategy and field plans. 
  • Experience leading cross functional teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and business partners. 
  • Familiarity with AI / GenAI enabled product capabilities and responsible AI considerations such as accuracy, transparency, bias, privacy, and human oversight.
  • Excellent executive level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling commercial narratives
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior go to market or coverage product experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, or Commercial & Investment Banking. 
  • Capital markets product management experience highly desired.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Dealcloud or other Commercial CRM platforms.
  • Experience with banker enablement, training design, and certification programs. 
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe, or equivalent.

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday Work Arrangement: in office/4-1 hydrid
