Finance Analyst

As a Finance Analyst supporting the Consumer Lending business, you will provide financial analytics, reporting, and budgetary awareness with a high focus on expense management.  You will work collaboratively with other members of the finance team as well as business and other key partners.   

Additionally, you will be a key player in providing insight and recommendations to key business leaders to ensure the business line is staying within budget forecasts and general targets. Primary responsibilities include

• Develops monthly financial reports, annual budget, and monthly forecasts. Provide transparent reporting, highlighting significant assumptions, opportunities and risks. Distill conclusions into succinct, impactful analysis and commentary appropriate for executive management.
• Provides insight and makes recommendations to key business leaders to ensure the business line stays within budget forecasts, and general targets. Continuously consults externally for updates from business partners and researches trends in the business or customer base to ensure forecasts and recommendations are up to date.
• Evaluate financial projections in light of environment, historical performance, initiatives and external market expectations. Preparation and coordination of monthly variance analysis during month end closing process. Research and analysis of variances to determine underlying business reasons.
• Identifying and driving process improvements, including improvement in management / organization of metric data for business line, creation of standard and ad hoc reports. Includes determination of appropriate approach, resources required, schedule for completion and monitoring of project progress.
• Design of format and content of presentation, quality review of accuracy, and recommendations provided to management.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

• Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Work experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight deadlines
  • Strong to Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency in Power Point and Word
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Consumer Lending or Banking experience
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase/Smart view 

Hours & Work Schedule

• Hours per Week: 40
• Work Schedule: M-F Hybrid 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Pay Transparency

• ‌The salary range for this position is $73,000-$101,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
