Trade & Supply Chain Finance Associate 

Citizens Commercial Banking is currently seeking an Analyst or Associate to join our Trade & Supply Chain Finance business.  We are focused on providing Citizens’ Commercial Banking clients with a best-in-class client experience by delivering a comprehensive, digitally enabled suite of Trade and Supply Chain Finance solutions.  This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding, entrepreneurial business within a dynamic and growing super-regional bank. 

This position provides the opportunity for a motivated, high performing individual to help to drive revenue and enhance their industry and product knowledge by working closely with seasoned product sales specialists and product managers as they develop traditional Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance products and deliver solutions to a wide range of corporate clients.  

Responsibilities

  • Harness your rapidly expanding product and industry knowledge to help the Trade & Supply Chain Finance business achieve its objectives by leveraging personal strengths, tenacity, and team skills. 

  • Learn the sales process.  Assist Trade Sales Specialists with industry and client research, working capital analysis, credit/risk analysis, pitch book creation, deal pricing, call preparation, and RFP support. 

  • Engage with Product Management colleagues to assist with new product development and product support, including developing technology channels.
  • Drive analytical and strategic projects and presentations forward to support management initiatives.
  • Understand and support the Export Trade sales process, including transaction pricing and tracking, exposure management, credit line availability, and client engagement.
  • Assist with day-to-day management of the flow of Supply Chain Finance Programs, including funding requests, tracking, supplier engagement, and program management.
  • Manage deal flow and CRM tool usage, lead data mining efforts, manage research sources and reporting needs. 

  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Finance, Operations, Risk, and Legal. 

Qualifications

  • Analytical skill and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated, passionate, and driven to achieve results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In depth knowledge of spreadsheets / Excel and high degree of proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Preferred experience include sales or product management support in Financial Services, especially Trade Finance or Supply Chain Finance. 
  • Credit experience is a plus.
  • Ability to interact successfully with all levels of colleagues.
  • Team player who can thrive in a collaborative environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Hours per Week:40
  • Work Schedule: M-F
