Private Bank, Lending Strategy & Execution Partner
Wealth and Asset Management
San Francisco, California; Boston, Massachusetts; Johnston, Rhode Island
Description
We are not hiring for a job—we’re recruiting a force multiplier. As a Lending Strategy & Execution Partner within our Private Bank, you will help architect the most client-centric, operationally precise, and competitively dominant lending platform in the industry. If you’re the type who sees inefficiency as an invitation, inconsistency as fuel, and client experience as sacred, read on.
This is a high-stakes role for a detail-obsessed operator with elite writing skills, ability to synthesize risk, return and client impact into actionable decisions, and the discipline to drive complex workstreams from ambiguity to execution. You’ll work directly with Private Bank leadership to elevate our end-to-end lending strategy—including pricing, policy design, operational workflows, and process execution—across consumer and business lending products.
What You’ll Do:
- Architect and execute private bank lending initiatives that set the standard in precision, speed, and client experience.
- Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Credit, Operations, and Sales—ensuring clarity, accountability, and progress.
- Author executive-ready business cases and data-driven proposals to advance strategic process improvement initiatives.
- Lead with urgency: Identify bottlenecks, design solutions, and mobilize cross-functional teams to remove friction and scale impact.
- Drive sprint-based execution cycles to improve lending operations, unlock throughput, and ensure clean, auditable processes.
- Track performance, flag red zones, and implement continuous improvement loops using data, feedback, and first-principles thinking.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in private banking, wealth/investment management, residential lending, or financial services operations—preferably in high-growth or high-regulation environments.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex processes into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- A fierce bias for action. You can lead without title, push without ego, and finish what others start.
- Proven history of turning policy into execution—and execution into results.
- Relentless attention to detail and accountability. You don’t just spot issues—you solve them, document them, and prevent them.
- Experience with residential lending (mortgage/HELOC), unsecured lending, and entity/trust borrowing structures is highly valued.
Work Structure:
- 40 hours/week expected.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours, including evenings and weekends when needed, to meet critical deadlines and deliver high-impact outcomes
