Citizens Private Bank services a range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, private equity, venture firms, their managing partners and employees, professional service firm employees, non-profits and other affluent-oriented clients.

The role of Client Service Manager is an individual contributor working in partnership with the Southern California Executive Market Director and the entire private bank team to support delivery of the best client experience when interacting with these locations. This person is expected to:

  • Recognize and contribute to the team effort required to support the growth of this start up Private Bank market
  • Make sound judgments on a day-to-day basis regarding assigned and ad hoc duties.
  • Engage and make a positive impression on high-demand clients.
  • Work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Directly support the Executive Market Director in administrative functions and some client activities.
  • Provide business support through day to day interactions as well as project involvement as assigned.
  • Reception—warmly greeting clients and visitors, offering them a seat and a beverage, and alerting the colleague(s) they are coming to see.
  • Oversee and maintain public areas, coordinate Facilities issues and create repair and maintenance tickets, receive and notify colleagues of deliveries.
  • Inform colleagues of any vendor office visits to maintain a secure work environment. 
  • Manage visiting colleague visits, i.e. coordinate schedules and draft itineraries for meetings with colleagues, set up temporary visitor office space, assist with visiting colleagues needs. 
  • Order, track, and maintain supplies for office and kitchen. 
  • Assist with internal and external colleague and client events including guest lists, RSVPs, and event management where needed.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 3+ years delivering excellent client service experience in a white glove capacity
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrate initiative and can-do attitude – able to take on other responsibilities or project as assigned.
  • Strong prioritization and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal required
  • Project management skills a plus.
  • High School Diploma required.

Hours & Work Schedule 

  • Hours per Week:  40
  • Work Schedule:  M - F 8:30am - 5:00pm 

    Pay Transparency

    The hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
