Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the note on note/master repurchase facility space. The ideal candidate is a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) finance leader with a successful track record in client management focused on sourcing and building holistic profitable relationships with private credit sponsors emphasizing transitional properties. The position will function in a matrix organizational structure to direct activities in an end-to-end process, actively partnering with risk managers, portfolio managers and analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Development: Participate in the design and implementation of a Note Finance platform including development of competitive financing products and supporting systems for underwriting, onboarding and asset management.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a subject matter expert, build strong client relationships and represent the bank in client meetings and industry events.
- Underwriting & Portfolio Oversight: Lead credit discussions, uphold underwriting standards and manage a balanced portfolio to ensure strong risk-adjusted returns.
- Team & Platform Leadership: Mentor junior staff, drive process improvements and collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners and stakeholders.
- Market Intelligence & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes, contribute to internal thought leadership and support strategic business planning.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in CRE finance; 5+ years in warehouse finance with expertise in structured mortgage products.
- Proven ability to scale CRE finance platforms and manage risk.
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Deep understanding of private credit, fund structures, and capital markets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Experience in early identification and resolution of underperforming loans to mitigate losses.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience building structured finance platform (s) at top-tier firms.
- Experience in strategic planning and managing teams through cycles

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $231,750 - $300,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, relevant skills, and experience.
