In the Sr CML Agency Service Specialist role, is specifically within the Loans Sales and Trade team, and will be identified as Loan Sales and Trading Operations Support Specialist. This role is responsible for utilizing multiple trade platforms to support daily trade settlements. Primary tasks include serving as one of the point of contacts for all the trading desk business line operation’s needs. This role supports task including but not limited to settlements of primary and secondary trading, internal assignments, and third-party trades. Also, will be responsible for the deal set up where Citizens does not hold a position and is responsible for all aspects of closing and managing a portfolio of simple to medium complexity syndicated sales and trading transactions. The position supports the strategic goals of credit management through loan distribution, and you will have responsibility for managing the reputation and operational risk associated with these transactions. Additionally, you will communicate with peer departments and business partners; enforce risk controls; maintain data governance and comply with appropriate policies, procedures, laws and regulations.

Primary responsibilities include:

•    Highest level of customer service with same day deadlines
•    This role is responsible for processing, analyzing, and solving complex daily transactions, including reconciliations of trading limits, clearing of cashflows with intricate transactions and daily trading settlements
•    Responsible for understanding and reviewing syndicated credited agreements 
•    Responsible for approving transactions; accurately recording and updating issues actions and outcomes
•    Responsible for setting up all counterparties, lenders, and ensuring accuracy with the set ups of all admin details 
•    Must be detail oriented and highly focused on trading desk operations functions: secondary trades, primary assignments, third party assignments
•    Maintain/create accurate and timely reports and/or documentation with minimal supervision
•    Working closely with the Sales and Trading business line and meeting the Service Level Agreements (SLA) given daily
•     Perform all due diligence on new traded deals prior to booking. ex OFAC, FATCA , and compliance documents
•    Collaborate with the Trading Desk team to properly implement business strategy within systematic processing limits as they arise through daily processing
•    Accurately completes all customer follow-up work
•    Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures, regulations, and applicable system applications to ensure compliance with department SLAs, policies, procedures, and/or regulatory and risk requirements

Qualifications:

•    Advanced Knowledge in commercial loan applications LoanIQ, ClearPar, S&P Global Platforms
•    Strong product knowledge of Syndication and Participation clients, with skills in issue prioritization and multi-tasking with trading desk transactions
•    Self-thinker, ability to make independent decisions regarding the processing of high-impact multi-million-dollar Syndicated transactions
•    Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
•    Solid interpersonal and communication skills
•    Handles day to day work challenges confidently and is willing to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
•    Solid professional customer service orientation
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Solid time management skills
•    Strong written and verbal skills
•    Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:


•    Bachelor’s degree required, or related work experience 

Hours & Work Schedule:

•    Hours per Week: 40hrs
•    Work Schedule: M-F,  8:00am – 5:00pm
