Private and Wealth Specialty Lending, a critical part of Citizens Private Bank is expanding as we seek to continue our build of new products and meet increased volume demands. The business includes partner lending, securities based lending and our custom credit products. 

As the Lending Operations Transformation Director for Private and Wealth Specialty Lending, you will be responsible for managing organization wide, large, complex efforts that will include coordinating the delivery of software elements, new and changed operating models, new processes, managing client transition plans and overall changes to organizational structure and capabilities. This effort will involve several parallel projects, working with subject matter experts, operations managers and key stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • The incumbent is responsible for program leadership, which includes providing strategic direction and leadership for the complex transitions ahead ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future capacity/SLA needs. 
  • Responsible for stakeholder engagement and management, which may include communicating program updates, risks, and achievements to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication channels.
  • Development of new operational procedures and workflows due to new systems coming online, new products developed and increased volumes.
  • Close coordination with risk partners developing procedures and related controls. Oversight and management of controls ensuring effectiveness and full coverage. 
  • Development of role profiles and training curriculums for all operational roles. 
  • Development of staffing and capacity models to meet current and future demands. 
  • Strategic leadership and development of conversion plan for clients from old platforms to new platforms. Overseeing both the conversion project and ensuring positive client experience through day to day conversions. 
  • Lastly, the incumbent is responsible for team leadership and development, which includes the management of resources, assignments, and workload distribution to ensure optimal team productivity.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 10+ years experience in financial services operations, product management and/or sales in partner lending, securities based lending, and custom product for high net clients
  • Experience in securities based lending or custom private credit valued 
  • Prior credit experience a plus 
  • Experience in leading a team is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $195,000 - $215,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on the various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
