Description
Are you ready to challenge the status quo and drive high-impact multi-year program across digital channels and platforms? We are seeking a passionate, proactive, and dynamic Digital Program Manager to drive client engagement and lead strategic operations for a multi-year transformation initiative across digital channels.
This is a non-people manager role focused on program governance, strategic execution, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex, agile enterprise programs and will bring operational rigor, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to ensure continuity as internal teams take ownership.
The Digital Program Manager will:
Serve as a key member of the Leapfrog Program Office, partnering with business leaders to advance product and transformation goals; Maintain and evolve program governance structures to support strategic alignment and execution; Lead cross-functional coordination, including stakeholder engagement, communication, reporting, and issue/risk management; Collaborate with business and technology teams to define roadmaps, milestones, and operating models; Drive consistency in messaging, reporting, and process execution across multiple agile initiatives; Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Program Delivery
- Support end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs aligned with strategic business goals.
- Support PMO lead in definition and management of program scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology execution, and customer outcomes.
- Track and manage interdependencies, risks, and issues across multiple workstreams.
- Drive delivery excellence through structured planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Support increment planning and execution cycles, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Facilitate prioritization and scenario planning to support dynamic business needs.
- Monitor delivery KPIs and health metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
Program Operations & Financial Management
- Support PMO lead on the operational rhythm of the program, including capital management, resource planning, and tooling (e.g., JIRA).
- Partner with finance, technology, and product teams to reconcile monthly spend against budget and forecasts.
- Actively manage resource alignment and forecasting, ensuring timely hiring and resource movement.
- Identify opportunities for improved budget management and propose reallocation strategies.
Process Improvement & Agile Transformation
- Evaluate and elevate current processes, routines, and procedures to improve team performance.
- Influence delivery metrics to represent organizational health and identify trends for improvement.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and champion change management policy adherence.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational optimization.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a liaison between PMO and Domains, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Manage governance cadence and stakeholder forums.
Leadership & Influence
- Provide escalation effectiveness and proactive problem-solving support.
- Influence cross-team collaboration and decision-making.
Work allocation
- 20% Strategic/ 40% Tactical/ 40% Transactional. Primary focus of role is on day-to-day operational execution, although roles will also include contributing to strategic planning within area of expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in the role offered or in a position involving project management of technology initiatives.
- Experience in management of technology development projects & onshore-offshore resources preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams.
- Experience in matrixed organizations and financial services preferred.
- Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, MS Project, Planview, Advanced Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and optimize outcomes.
Education and Certifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
Work Hours and Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
- 4 day onsite hybrid from a Citizens corporate office
