We are seeking a Vice President to lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of our Consumer payments delivery initiatives. This role requires a candidate with deep expertise in payment and money movement systems, such as Zelle, ACH and real-time transfers, debit and credit cards, and wires. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital payment solutions that meet the needs of our clients and align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Drive short term objectives and long-term vision fueled by deep understanding of customer needs. Challenge the status quo in driving innovation and finding sustainable value creation opportunities.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Product Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of digital payment products, ensuring they meet consumer needs and market trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to develop and enhance the engagement & communication strategy across our mobile app, and email marketing, ensure alignment and successful product delivery and end-to-end experience management.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, assess competition, and gather insights to inform product decisions.
  • Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all digital payment solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital payment products, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for the consumer digital payments team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product plans, progress, and results to executive leadership,stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Rally teams around your product vision and influence prioritizationacross partner teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital payments
  • Strong strategic thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to lead and manage teams, deep understanding of digital payment technologies and trends.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methods
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to circumvent roadblocks and build advocates for your vision across an organization.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric approach to product development. Ability to bring teams together to problem solve what is possible.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports simultaneously. Ability to drive teams toward common goals and results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a hunger to learn and tackle new challenges.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
