Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Principal Software Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Participates in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices and collaborating effectively with your team mates. Collaborates and contributes insight to solution design ideation, ensuring both the success of the product and adherence to enterprise architecture principles. Designs, modifies, develops, and implements software solutions. Builds modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals. Infuses quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities. Employs industry best practices to evaluate, correct and prevent vulnerabilities during the software development process. Conducts machine learning model training, implementation and execution. Serves as a peer-leader, encouraging a culture of innovation and accountability while adhering to Agile best practices.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field followed by seven (7) years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Two (2) years of experience must include: End-to-end delivery of projects, including Business interaction, Design, Coding, unit testing, Build Creation, and Staging; Rest services on Big Data platforms; Machine learning models for credit and fraud checks; Machine learning models for binary tree structure; Capacity management rule authoring; Sprint planning and tasking out user stories; and Development of complex stored procedures; Five (5) years of experience must include: Using skills in C#, ASP.net, Red Gate, AngularJS, DOJO, JQuery, Rest Web API, Python, XML, XSLT2.0, Web service, JavaScript, SAP, Java, and J2EE.
