Investment Banking Associate - Equity Capital Markets

Citizens is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Equity Capital Markets(ECM) in New York City, NY.  The ECM Associate will be involved in all facets of Citizens investment banking activities, including private and public offerings, across a variety of industry groups. The ECM Associates often work directly with senior investment bankers, continually receiving an education in financial analysis, as well as a broad-based exposure to all equity products.

Primary responsibilities include

• Financial analysis and modeling, 
• Company and industry research, 
• Coordination of various processes involved in financing, 
• Preparation of offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials for meetings.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

• Live in, or ability to relocate to, New York City, New York.
• 3+ years of related investment banking experience. 
• Bachelor’s degree along with outstanding academic achievement preferably in fields of finance, economics or mathematics. 
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & high-level coding language. 
• Strong oral and verbal communication skills. 
• Superior work ethic. 

Hours & Work Schedule

• Hours per Week:  40+
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.  ​
