The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Senior BSA) plays a critical leadership role within the Business Solutions Department, supporting Mortgage Servicing and Default Operations. This individual serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the design and implementation of complex systems and process improvements. The Senior BSA leads cross-functional initiatives, mentors junior analysts, and ensures alignment of technology solutions with business goals.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems and workflows to support strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, Agile teams, and subject matter experts to define system scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Facilitate and lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather and validate business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee and guide the development, testing, and deployment of system enhancements and new features.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a product owner proxy or lead BSA on Agile teams, ensuring timely and high-quality Sprint deliverables.
  • Mentor and support junior BSAs, promoting best practices in analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies in all documentation and system changes.
  • Provide strategic insights through data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Manage system configuration and settings to meet evolving business requirements.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of business systems analysis, process modeling, and requirements management.
  • Expertise with Black Knight’s MSP platform is required.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, including tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with change management and solution architecture is a plus.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of applicable experience preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: M-F 8:00AM - 5:00PM
