Description

As a critical member of the Corporate Communications team, the Communications Specialist will primarily support both internal and external communications for Business Banking and Enterprise Payments, including our efforts to educate and engage stakeholders in our campaigns, capabilities, strategy and initiatives through storytelling. They will play a key role in driving engagement through new ways of communicating and connecting. 

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end editorial process—including creating content and measuring impact
  • Research, write and publish stories that raise awareness of our capabilities, people and wins
  • Raise and execute ideas to test and learn new, innovative communications formats
  • Develop and execute communications planning efforts for other projects/programs as assigned
  • Maintain connectivity across business lines and with key partners

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Learn and employ the voice/tone of the Business Banking division
  • Synthesize complex messaging and content and represent it simply, visually and in a compelling and modern way
  • Think creatively and develop innovative approaches to address challenges
  • Stay current on what’s happening throughout the organization in order to make connections and align communications
  • Have strong writing, editing, proofreading and presentation design skills 

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5 in Office full time. Can work in Boston MA, Westwood MA or Johnston RI
