RSS Deposit Services Team Member

The RSS (Relationship Servicing & Support) Services team is responsible for account opening, signer updates, and other account maintenance specific to Business Banking accounts. Members of the RSS Deposit Team work to ensure all required document is obtained in order to process account opening and maintenance needs of RM Managed Business Banking Clients. Additionally, this role will support the Quality Control testing of client-initiated Digital Account Openings (self-directed online account opening) to ensure proper documentation is received prior to the accounts going live.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Daily QC of Digital Account Openings (DAO), ensuring documentation requirements are met prior to accounts becoming active. 
  • Correspond with clients through the DAO portal when documentation is missing or needs to be corrected. 
  • Maintain DAO tracker on a daily basis. 
  • Facilitate the Business deposit account opening process, signer updates, and account maintenance for Business Banking RM Managed Clients, including blocked and controlled control accounts (DACA/BACA)
  • Liaises with Clients, Relationship Managers, RSS, Management, Risk, and others as necessary as part of the on-boarding, account maintenance and the AML/KYC process.
  • Works with relationship managers to ensure completion of AML/KYC for new and existing customers by reviewing client documentation, and data entered in proprietary system(s).
  • Ensures all appropriate information is contained in the proprietary system(s) to meet all regulatory, legal, bank and audit requirements.
  • Escalates any exceptions to leadership and other concerned parties.
  • Maintains knowledge of mainframe (IM/ST), VISTA, and DDI applications to ensure all pertinent information is captured and properly coded (account type, officer coding, rate pointers, and more).
  • Establishes requested accounts in the core system.
  • Monitors all requests to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Performs QC of work entered by other colleagues on the RSS Deposit Team and may be asked to QC VRM account openings. 

Qualifications: 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years relevant banking experience with an operations or customer service team
  • An understanding of account structures such as Corporations, Partnerships, Sole Proprietorships, etc. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, RMs, and Management team.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet critical SLAs.
  • Effectively handles assigned work with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proficient in data entry
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills with an ability to adapt and tailor messages.
  • Knowledge of Mainframe applications
  • Ability to develop relationships with business partners to ensure objectives are met and client has best possible experience.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and work well under pressure.

Education:  

Associates degree preferred.
