We are seeking a Finance Manager to support the Digital and Omnichannel Strategy within the Consumer Bank at Citizens Bank, responsible for managing financial processes, including strategic planning, budgeting, monthly forecasting, and monthly reporting. This role works closely with key stakeholders within the broader Consumer Bank and partner organizations to provide finance and strategic support. We are seeking a motivated, curious, business-oriented finance person for this role. This role is a key role in the organization working in close partnership with both the Digital and the Technology group to deliver the next generation of banking and digital transformation.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Partner with the Digital and Omnichannel Strategy teams to understand capex expenditures and closely track the spend by initiative.
  • Partner with technology, product and enterprise stakeholders to project, monitor, and manage investments in Digital and Omnichannel.
  • Managing the budget, forecast and strategic plan process for Digital and Omnichannel.
  • Create ROI analysis for key initiatives and synthesize with finance and business leaders.
  • Develop business case analysis to support new technology initiatives to rive strategic outcomes
  • Provide financial stewardship for the division, including month-end close, monthly financial reviews, rolling forecasts, annual and multi-year planning.
  • Evaluate past results, perform variance/attribution analyses, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including in management/organization of metric data, creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
  • Provide financial advice and insight to the group to help ensure appropriate levels of financial analysis, scenario modeling, and integration is incorporated into ongoing decision making.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in business unit financial management.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the big picture, while working through the operational details required to construct a forecast/budget.
  • Detailed oriented, diligent with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with business partners.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Essbase and Oracle experience a plus.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and business partners

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Master’s Degree or MBA a plus

Hours per Week: 40 / Work Schedule
