As the Finance Manager you are responsible for supporting the financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis of the Citizens Securities, Inc. business line within Wealth Management.  You will Review reports and budgets prepared by others for accuracy and completeness and assist with problem resolution during monthly financial reporting and annual budgets processing. Additionally, you will be fully knowledgeable on the day to day activities of a product or process and provide assistance on complex business issues. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Complete monthly financial close process via review of financial results with identification and coordination of necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Source data from multiple systems to load metrics to statistical accounts for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Analysis of actual monthly results compared to forecast / budget. Identification and research of variance drivers to develop insightful explanation of financial and business results.
  • Completion of the monthly financial performance reporting for use in monthly review of business results with senior finance and line of business management.
  • Development & production of executive reporting. 
  • Identifying and driving process improvements, including improvement in management / organization of metric data for Wealth Management, creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
  • Develop forecasts and budgets for staffing and expenses.
  • Contribute to creation of the budget packages that document key assumptions.
  • Maintenance of reporting hierarchies to align financial reporting with changes in the business.
  • Analysis and reporting of Wealth Management vendor costs.
  • Ad-hoc projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in financial reporting, analysis or accounting, preferably in a Financial Services organization.
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to succinctly communicate financial issues both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work on multiple deliverables within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to develop and use financial models in Excel.
  • Ability to develop and deliver financial presentations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Essbase.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related discipline is required.

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per week: 40

Work Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday hybrid, 3 days in office/2 days remote
