Citizens Private Bank is seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Insights Associate to assist in the management of multiple high-impact initiatives aimed at building and enhancing a marquee private banking institution across key markets. This role is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for financial services, who is eager to contribute to the growth of a private bank focused on delivering exceptional client service and tailored financial solutions.

The Associate will sit in our 101 California Street office in San Francisco, CA and work closely with senior leadership on a variety of initiatives including mortgage, HELOC, commercial lending, C&I, unsecured lending, and the development of policies, pricing, and market positioning strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in private banking and help drive strategic projects that shape the bank’s national presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Support:

  •   Assist in managing and coordinating multiple ongoing initiatives in private banking, including mortgage, HELOC, commercial, and unsecured lending.
  •   Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines using project management tools.
  •   Prepare weekly progress reports and summaries for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  •   Help organize and maintain task lists, ensuring that all action items are assigned, tracked, and completed in a timely manner.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  •   Support the collection and analysis of data related to pricing, market positioning, and client behavior across key banking products.
  •   Develop detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership that provide insights into project performance, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  •   Assist in competitor benchmarking and market research to identify trends and opportunities in the private banking sector.

Operational & Administrative Assistance:

  •   Help streamline operational processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives and compliance requirements.
  •   Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking follow-up actions.
  •   Ensure proper documentation of all processes, communications, and decisions related to key private banking initiatives.

Communication & Coordination:

  •   Act as a liaison between senior leadership and various internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, compliance) to ensure alignment on key priorities.
  •   Facilitate the communication of project updates to direct reports and senior executives.
  •   Help prepare and review internal and external communication materials, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services, project management, or a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Interest in private banking, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on timely execution and delivery with a strong commitment to confidentiality and compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.



Pay Transparency 
The salary range for this position is $76,800 - $115,200 per year.
