Payment Ops Specialist III

Description

Wire Investigator provides support for activities in Commercial Operations with an emphasis on operational excellence and superior customer service. Operates effectively in a customer-oriented environment and works well in a team environment. The Wire Transfer Investigator must adhere to all internal risk policies as well as all federal and international laws and regulations all while providing exceptional customer service

Primary responsibilities include

• Review payment requests to ensure that they comply with internal policies and procedures.
• Track payments to vendors and review payment status to identify any issues that may have occurred during processing.
• Resolve all Wire and Real Time Payment  Investigations   initiated from various sources within the timeline required
• Adhere to all REG E guidelines pertaining to Dodd Frank Wires.
• Answer research and investigation related phone calls.
• Act as a central point of contact for wire related questions and investigations.
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions within the time limits of the department
• Research and resolve outstanding items on the Recon for our Nostro and USD correspondent banks.
• Be a role model to drive customer service values and effective management of customer concerns and issue resolution.
• Proactively identify opportunities' for change which will add value to the business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction
• Available to stay late due to staffing requirements.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.  
• Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and with multiple teams simultaneously.
• Adaptable self-thinker:  Able to work through issues and escalate only as appropriate. 
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Hours & Work Schedule

• 8:30 -5:00
• Monday - Friday
