Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Data Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Implements data integration solutions for multiple platforms. Builds robust data pipelines to collect, process, and compute metrics from financial sources, while adhering to quality and development standards. Designs application architecture and technical design, and articulates data pipeline solutions. Collaborates with cross functional teams to design optimal solutions that meet data demands. Deploys high performing code and executes data unit tests in target data containers to validate results and ensure quality and accuracy. Coordinates User Acceptance Testing and works with Operations teams for code deployments to upper environments. Follows change management team stipulations on path to production requirements and ensures adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Understand business use case into functional and technical requirements (technical analysis) to ensure all impacted systems are accounted. Collaborate with business analysts, business users, and external systems integrators in conceptualization and development of new technical objects; Prepare High level and Low level designs from the requirements. Estimation and design of system enhancement and/or development, following the standard models; Develop Agile solutions with continuous integration and testing; Develop Cloud service deployments and infrastructure automation; Develop Datalake and Data Warehouse solutions; and Utilizing Oracle, Sybase, Netezza, Hivesql, Impala, Rest API, SOAP UI, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Kubernetes, and Docker. Experience must also include: Developing datapipelines using Redshift and conducting pipeline orchestration using Airflow.
