Private Bank Senior Integration Manager

Citizens is hiring a Senior Integration Manager to enable Private Bank customers to access their Citizens data from within third-party applications of their choice (e.g. personal finance management tools, fintechs, ERPs, accounting providers) via open banking and direct APIs, file transmission, and other data sharing mechanisms.
This Enterprise role works directly in support of the Citizens Private Bank and its mission to deliver world-class banking experiences to Private Bank customers.
Responsibilities:
- Operate at the nexus of internal and external parties to accelerate and drive data sharing efforts between Citizens and the third-party platforms used by Citizens Private Bank clients.
- Build relationships and engage directly with external data aggregators and the platforms they serve (personal finance management tools, fintechs, ERPs, accounting providers etc.) to understand the data needs of the platforms, the aggregators they work with, and the steps needed to enable data sharing for mutual Citizens <> platform customers.
- Leverage knowledge of data sharing options (API, SFTP, screen scraping, etc.) to drive business results.
Serve as liaison between external data aggregators and platforms, Private Bank leadership, Private Bankers, Citizens technical delivery teams, and Citizens product teams. - Understand the nuances of Citizens Private Bank client types, the external platforms they use, and the specific data needs of each platform.
- Create and drive roadmap of engagement with external data aggregators and platforms to meet the needs of Citizens Private Bank clients.
- Coordinate roadmaps between Citizens <> external platforms; align priorities between bank and platforms / aggregators.
- Bring voice of customer (VOC) into Citizens technical roadmap planning. Partner with product leads of Citizens business lines to advance external data sharing in coordinated manner.
- Propose changes and enhancements to continually improve the customer + platform + aggregator experience.
Serve as the subject matter expert, providing guidance and knowledge to Citizens Private Bank clients, bankers, and support teams on all things data sharing, including assisting to resolve client-specific issues and escalations. - Create, maintain, and improve support procedures and documentation, and keep support colleagues up to date on defects, changes, and improvements to our open banking services.
Required Qualifications
- Experience driving a roadmap and managing internal and external executive relationships.
- 5+ years of experience in the banking or fintech space.
- 5+ years of experience working with clients / external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain complex issues and solutions to all levels of the organization.
- Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and executive presentations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple conversations and initiatives simultaneously within a fast paced, results-oriented environment.
- Experience with the client types covered in Citizens Private Bank: Start Ups, VC Funds, PE Funds, Limited Partners, General Partners, Founders, other High-Net-Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Corporates, Commercial Real Estate firms, RIAs, etc.
- Familiarity with U.S. Open Banking regulatory landscape, competitive landscape, standards (e.g. FDX), and trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business development background.
- Core banking knowledge across consumer, business, and commercial lines.
- Experience with complex data mapping and integration patterns across multiple internal legacy and cloud systems.
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: M-F 8-5 Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days remote. Can be out of the Westwood MA, Boston MA, Johnston RI or NYC offices.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $115,200 - $172,800 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
