Business Insights Sr. Analyst

The Business Insights Sr. Analyst will be part of the Treasury Solutions Revenue Management team.  By providing data-driven reporting and analytics, your efforts will deliver ongoing insights into Product and Relationship Manager performance, and will inform tactical pricing strategies. 

  • You will use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services by developing and articulating strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis. 
  • Primarily work independently with collaboration across other functional teams to access data elements, understand the data being analyzed, and identify process improvement opportunities. 
  • You will be a key player in providing insights that directly impact our business strategies through complex analysis and 'big picture' thinking.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop full understanding of Commercial TS Analytics application (I.e. Tableau-based dashboards) in order to maintain existing and design new self-service analytical dashboards for each user’s key performance indicators.
  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce and Tableau UI/UX for ~150 users in Treasury Solutions business line.  
  • Use Excel and Tableau Dashboards for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Create visualizations and dashboards in MSOffice and Tableau to present to stakeholders.
  • Be the TS Experience Owner by collaborating with pods of developers to prioritize, test, and implement upgrades (by creating tickets for developers using Jira). 
  • Work with data scientists to develop data models that deliver next best product insights via Salesforce. 
  • Work with business leaders to identify and understand business needs. Translate needs into requirements and deliverables. Work with technical and development partners to deliver solutions based on requirements.
  • Model annual sales goals per the budget (shared via Finance & Corporate Banking National Sales Partners) for specialists across 5 product suites.
  • Build ad-hoc reports and analyses for Sales, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams 
  • Create training videos for new users, features, and analytics on the platform 
  • Outline and track requirements for improvements to various user interfaces (Salesforce, Precision Lender, Commercial TS Analytics App [I.e. Alteryx/Tableau]) 
  • Provide analyses and reports to identify trends/insights and formulate recommendations that will influence business decisions. Create, synthesize and present customized data requests, transforming data into a story that informs both high-level strategy and tactical decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy of results and analytic methods through testing and validation of underlying report data. Ensure bias and data quality issues are resolved or explained when communication occurs.
  • Identify business opportunities and opportunities for optimization through analysis of large, complex data sets.
  • Manage many priorities with minimal oversight. Plan and prioritize to hit deadlines in conditions that may change rapidly or involve ambiguity.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science/Analytics, Business Administration, or quantitative field.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau, MS Office, other analytics tools & languages
  • 3+ years professional experience in an analytical role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and to adapt while focusing on key goals and objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets.
  • Expert proficiency with numbers and analytics and experience in analyzing large amounts of data.
  • Ability to manage and develop ongoing client relationships.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in multiple departments.
  • Experience with market research, analyzing client behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
