The Portfolio Manager will be the critical internal and client-facing role for the Partner Lending business. Partner lending will offer lending facilities to individual consumer borrowers as they seek to invest in Private Equity/Venture Capital funds.

The Portfolio Manager will work closely with the Partner Lending Relationship Manager to facilitate the creation and execution of deals and agreements. This includes engaging outside/inside counsel, credit officers, firm leadership, etc. to ensure all information and approvals are obtained to structure a final deal with the firms. The Portfolio Manager will also quarterback the internal processes for each deal, collaborating with internally stakeholders and being the liaison to the Partner Lending RM.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary support for the Partner Lending Relationship Manager
  • Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel to review and approve client documents
  • Draft and manage term sheets for review with Citizens credit officers and business leadership
  • Conduct firm/fund screening and due diligence activities  
  • Manage pricing/profitability reviews and decisions across all deals
  • Manage agreements through credit approvals
  • Quarterback process internally to reach executed deal agreement for program with the firm
  • Work with Partner Lending RM to monitor portfolio management and related ongoing loan performance

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F 8:30-5:00

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $114,800+ per year plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings with total compensation of $172,200+. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
