Citizens Private Bank is opening a Private Bank Office in San Diego as part of its strategy to build out Wealth Management, scale Business Banking, grow deposits, and expand in key growth markets.

PBO Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Drives office performance, client experience, and colleague development through inspirational leadership, highly collaborative partnerships, and sound operational practices.  
  • This person is directly responsible for creating and maintaining a strong client-centric culture and is the primary mentor and manager to branch colleagues.  
  • The role fulfills both a player and coach role in achieving team and individual sales goals by delivering product/service 'value' and differentiating solutions that address clearly understood customer needs.
  • The Manager must be able to clearly communicate messages to colleagues and translate business priorities in a way that colleagues embrace and are able to execute. 
  • This person is also responsible for the branch P&L and, therefore, must understand financials and key business drivers and use that understanding to guide sound decision-making. 
  • In addition, this person leads, manages, and directs all colleague and sales activities to ensure P&L targets are met and exceeded. 
  • As an ambassador for our brand, the Manager will be a visible representative in the field and community helping branch colleagues cultivate new customer relationships and deepen existing ones.

PBO Manager Qualifications

  • Leadership experience, with proven ability to coach and develop to drive sales excellence, ensure the delivery of world class customer service, and operational integrity in a high-volume branch environment.
  • 4 years sales management experience in Private Banking office/branch environment 
  • Successful record of managing objectives in meeting sales goals, deadlines and branch goals in a profit and loss environment 
  • Maintain strong partnerships with community & civic organizations. 
  • Work Hours – Monday – Friday – 40 hours 

PBO Office Lead:

  • Oversee daily activities in designated branch location including driving branch initiatives, mitigating risk by ensuring all colleagues are following policy and procedures in accordance of regulations and audit readiness, and customer experience through inspirational leadership, highly collaborative partnerships. 
  • The PBO Lead will supervise Private Bank Office operations in the absence of the Private Bank Office Manager and assist in colleague coaching, management, and training; ensuring that business processes and exceptional customer experiences are being delivered consistently. 

PBO Office Lead Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in private bank office or high net worth banking role ensuring the delivery of world class customer service, and operational integrity in a high-volume branch environment.
  • Successful record of meeting/exceeding team and individual sales goals, deadlines and branch goals in a profit and loss environment 
  • Work Hours – Monday – Friday – 40 hours 

PBO Senior Banker/Banker

  • The Senior Banker and Banker will work in service, support, and sales, while creating a world class experience for clients and prospects in our Private Bank Offices. 
  • In this role you are the deposit expert and key service partner for the Business Banker/Relationship Managers’ client base. 
  • Contribute to the overall success of the office by delivering a white glove experience to all clients and growing overall deposits. (Senior Banker/Banker roles will be differentiated with the level of expectations/goals for business development/deposit growth and acquisition and existing client base)
  • Service responsibilities include opening accounts and other services to ensure expedited delivery; assist clients with transactions, including but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, internal transfers, CD renewals, and wire transfers.

PBO Sr. Banker/Banker Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in private banking serving clients, building relationships and supporting growth of deposits.
  • History of working with high net-worth clientele preferred and Sr. Banker/Banker qualifications differentiate based on competency level; years of experience, and existing client relationships to support deposit growth.
  • Hours per Week: Monday - Friday

Pay Transparency

The salary range for the PBO Manager position is $120,000 - $140,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. 

The salary range for the PBO Office Lead position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. 

The salary range for the PBO Senior Banker position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. 

The salary range for the PBO Banker position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings.

Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
