Citizens Private Bank has accelerated its strategy to build out Wealth Management, scale Business Banking, grow deposits, and expand in key growth markets. We are looking for talented individuals with a demonstrated track record of delivering a gold glove experience to clients that results in long-term client loyalty. Citizens Private Wealth presently manages and advises on over $20 Billion in assets, offering a wide scope of services, expertise, and research, while intimately focusing on each client’s unique circumstances.
The Partner Lending Relationship Manager (PLRM) is a critical client facing role for the Partner Lending business. Partner lending will offer lending facilities to individual consumer borrowers as they seek to invest in Private Equity (PE)/Venture Capital (VC) funds. The PLRM will be the first connection to the partner lending business once an opportunity is identified by the Private Bank. Working closely with the Private Bank RM, the PLRM will be responsible for engaging with the client to understand their lending needs, negotiating terms and ultimately reaching an agreement. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing all lending to borrowers under the agreement and ongoing monitoring of the relationship ensure both bank/firm objectives are reached.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Serve as the primary contact for clients entering partner lending relationships.
- Draft term sheets for review and negotiate with clients as needed.
- Partner with Private Banking RM to conduct firm/fund screening and due diligence activities.
- Secure Private Bank RM agreement and approval of terms.
- Manage agreement through credit approvals.
- Oversee and engage with borrowers as needed to complete individual loan agreements.
- Monitor overall relationship performance both at the firm and consumer level to ensure objectives achieved.
- Responsible for portfolio management and related ongoing loan performance monitoring.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- 5+ years of relevant experience working within PE/VC lending
- Proven customer centric service building individual books of business
- Experience in co-investment programs preferred
- Private banking relationship experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
