Description

The Trust Operations Associate will be responsible for processing the movement of money and performing operational support duties. It is expected that the individual fulfilling this role will continually gain more knowledge and skills through practice and mentorship, and with strong results-oriented performance could eventually be given more complex responsibilities (e.g., approving money movement, approving reports and client communications, problem research and resolution, etc.).

Primary responsibilities include

  • Check deposit processing (e.g., scanning, entering in system, obtaining approval of entry, and notifying relationship managers)
  • Prepare and mail client materials in an accurate, complete and professional manner and obtain proper approval 
  • Account change confirmations
  • Escalate discrepancies and customer inquiries in an accurate and timely manner 
  • Process operational settlement wires
  • Monitor and track incoming and outgoing transfer of securities, verifying the accuracy of information completed by another colleague or vendor
  • Prepare costs basis report for asset transfers and send to custodians for processing
  • Prepare reporting, conduct reconciliations and validations requests
  • Provide coverage for other operational staff during peak times and vacation
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications

  • 1 or more years in the financial services industry with money movement transactions
  • Positive and customer-focused mindset with the ability to effectively influence others and use consultative skills to enrich the customer experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully have strong active listening and problem-solving skills, persistent enthusiasm when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team along with the ability to train and support other team members.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.  
  • Success proven ability to be successful and adapt to a fast-paced, multi-dimensional work environment using strong time management skills. 
  • Possesses detailed and goal oriented professional approach 
  • Ability to learn and understand various Computer Based systems including Accounting systems like InnoTrust; Microsoft Office Products- Excel; Outlook; Word
  • Completed high school degree or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience with National Financial Services (NFS) system platform
  • Past experience working with private wealth business related transactions for clients $1MM or higher
  • Demonstrated successful stable work history.
  • Completed associates and/or bachelors college degree

Hours & Work Schedule

  • M-F: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 100% in office until fully trained with potential for 1 day work from home hybrid after fully trained.
