Overview

We are seeking a Principal Cloud Networking Solutions Architect to design and implement a robust, future-proof multi-cloud networking strategy for our banking infrastructure. This role will be responsible for designing and architecting secure, scalable, high-performance and cost-effective networking and security solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and Equinix, ensuring seamless interconnectivity and adherence to industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in multi-cloud networking, automation, and security architecture and work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, including leadership. Additionally, this role will involve mentoring junior team members and driving innovation in cloud networking strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a multi-cloud networking strategy across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, ensuring scalability, security, performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Architect, design, and document complex cloud networking solutions, including traffic engineering, load balancing, and micro-segmentation.
  • Ensure seamless interconnectivity between CSPs and on-prem environments using Equinix.
  • Develop and enforce highly available, modular, scalable, and secure networking architectures.
  • Implement advanced routing and switching strategies across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Define cloud security best practices, including zero-trust architecture, encryption, firewall policies, and micro-segmentation.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization strategies for cloud networking.
  • Lead efforts to automate network provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, Python and CloudFormation.
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership, to align cloud networking strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot network performance, security, and latency across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
  • Act as a mentor for junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years in networking with at least 5+ years in CSPs networking and security
  • Proficiency in Arista Fabric and advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, etc.).
  • Strong security knowledge, including zero-trust networking, NextGen & Cloud Firewalls, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers in networking and security domains.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Networking Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Network Engineer, OCI Architect, Aviatrix ACE Professional, Arista ACE Cloud Journeyman etc.).
  • Strong project management skills to drive complex networking initiatives.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40 hours / salary
  • Work Schedule: Normal Business

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $ 132,080 - $ 198,120 per year  plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
