As the Commercial Operations Loan Servicer III, you will be responsible for all aspects of closing and managing a portfolio of moderately to complex lead agent syndicated transactions. The position supports the strategic goals of credit management through loan distribution, and you will have responsibility for managing the reputational and operational risk associated with these transactions. Additionally, you will negotiate loan agreements; communicate with investors, business partners and counsel; enforce risk controls; maintain data governance and comply with appropriate policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Service an extensive Escrow portfolio with disbursement of Taxes and Insurance.
  • Review all Escrow accounts to ensure we receive accurate and current Tax and Insurance Invoices prior to disbursement.
  • Be heavily engaged with Escrow third party Vendor in review of cases and managing a pipeline of cases.
  • Review reports and excel spreadsheets and perform system maintenance.
  • Perform Tax Line-Item maintenance and review within the Loan Inventory system and Tax System. (AFS and TaxQ).
  • Manage a pipeline of work cases and requests.
  • Perform monetary/financial transactions in creation and release of Business Banking wires, utilizing ePost and Access Optima. 
  • Work within all service level agreements including critical and timely ones with financial impact.
  • Track all wires released and manage the wire portfolio.
  • Be engaged and active in team huddles and meetings.
  • Be a team player.
  • Handle a variety of functions and tasks daily while possessing solid time management skills.
  • Be a self-starter.
  • Review and update procedures and job aids.
  • Be able to adapt and train working a hybrid work environment.
  • Frequent interactions with internal and external partners are required to ensure that the conditions of escrowed accounts are met.
  • Effectively work with partners, customers, legal, and third parties to coordinate and clear all due diligence and conditions for servicing the account.
  • Maintain solid understanding of all functions assigned and be able to articulate the process.
  • Ensures all activities meet Bank, departmental, and regulatory expectations.
  • Provides exceptional customer service while adhering to Bank policies and controls and regulatory requirements to mitigate operational and reputational risk review.
  • Works with customer base to support service needs.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 3-5 years minimum of Banking Industry experience (Commercial/Residential Lending).
  • 3 years minimum of customer service-related experience.
  • Knowledge with Escrow Tax Disbursements/Escrow Analysis and Insurance, Wires Delinquency Accounts strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge with AFS financial transactions, change headers preferred. 
  • Knowledge with Escrow accounts within the Metro area preferred. 
  • In depth working knowledge of escrow services.
  • General Ledger and Reconciliation background with at least 1-year minimum experience.
  • Wire processing experience with at least 1-year minimum experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to effectively manage pipeline for self and team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment while maintaining service level agreements.
  • Exceptional communication skills and able to manage and resolve moderately complex problems.
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of commercial lending activities.
  • Proficient in Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • System knowledge Mainframe, TaxQ, AFS, ePost, Access Optima preferred.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40 
  • Work Schedule: M-F 9am – 6pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm
