Citizens Private Bank has accelerated its strategy to build out Wealth Management, scale Business Banking, grow deposits, and expand in key growth markets. We are looking for talented individuals with a demonstrated track record of delivering a gold glove experience to clients that results in long-term client loyalty. Citizens Private Wealth presently manages and advises on over $20 Billion in assets, offering a wide scope of services, expertise, and research, while intimately focusing on each client’s unique circumstances.

The Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) Wealth Advisor will collaborate closely with a Senior Wealth Advisor to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to the bank’s UHNW clients. The role is focused on offering sophisticated wealth management services, including estate planning, tax strategies, investment management, and philanthropic advisory, tailored to the unique needs of UHNW individuals and families. The Wealth Advisor will support business development initiatives, partner engagement, and work as part of a broader team to help achieve the goals of the private bank.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a Senior Wealth Advisor to support the growth of the private bank’s UHNW client segment, contributing to the firm’s success in delivering superior wealth management services.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

              •            Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with UHNW clients, ensuring deep understanding of their financial objectives, risk tolerance, long-term goals.

              •            Work with the Senior Wealth Advisor to deliver customized financial plans that integrate investment, estate, and tax planning strategies.

              •            Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering ongoing guidance and proactively addressing financial needs.

Wealth Strategy Development:

              •            Assist in the creation and implementation of bespoke wealth management strategies that address the complex needs of UHNW clients.

              •            Leverage internal and external resources to provide insights on investment opportunities, estate structures, and tax efficiencies.

              •            Support the delivery of multi-generational wealth transfer and succession planning solutions.

Business Development:

              •            Partner with the Senior Wealth Advisor and internal bank teams to identify and cultivate new UHNW client relationships.

•            Participate in networking and business development efforts to expand the firm’s UHNW client base, including engagement with Centers of Influence (COIs), private bankers, and internal partners.

              •            Assist in the creation and presentation of customized proposals for prospective clients.

Collaboration with Private Banking and Internal Partners:

              •            Collaborate with internal teams including private bankers, trust officers, and estate planners to provide seamless client service.

              •            Actively contribute to cross-functional teams to address clients’ complex financial needs, ensuring a holistic and integrated wealth management approach.

              •            Strengthen relationships with internal bank partners to identify opportunities for referrals and client acquisition.

Client Reporting and Communication:

              •            Assist with the preparation of regular portfolio reviews, performance reports, and financial updates for clients.

              •            Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding portfolio performance, market insights, and any updates to their financial plan.

Compliance and Risk Management:

              •            Ensure that all client solutions are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

              •            Work with compliance and legal teams to manage client documentation, ensuring that all records are maintained according to regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

              •            Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (CFP preferred or Series 65).

              •            5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related field, with a focus on UHNW clients.

              •            Strong knowledge of investment products, estate planning strategies, and tax optimization for UHNW individuals.

              •            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with UHNW clients.

              •            Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

              •            Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.
